9/14/20261 min read

The VET4YE – Transforming VET for Disadvantaged Youth Empowerment and Employment consortium is pleased to announce the publication of its second project newsletter.

The newsletter reports on the project's progress since launch, including the successful completion of national focus groups under Work Package 2. Engaging 197 participants across 8 countries, these consultations brought together VET providers, teachers, employers, public authorities, industry representatives and young people to identify current challenges and labour market needs. It also presents the development of the VET4YE Quality Framework in line with EQAVET principles and previews the upcoming training courses, covering Employability Skills, Soft Skills, Safety in the Construction Site, and technical training for carpenters, plumbers and electricians. In addition, the newsletter announces VET4YE's first official synergy with SEQ Elevate – Skills for the Future, an EU-funded initiative supporting NEETs.

Read the second newsletter to learn more about our progress and follow our journey towards more inclusive, innovative and employment-oriented VET.
