VET4YE Kick-off Meeting Successfully Held in Dresden, Germany

The official Kick-off Meeting of the Erasmus+ KA220-VET project "VET4YE – Transforming VET for Disadvantaged Youth Empowerment and Employment" took place on 3–4 February in Dresden, Germany.

Hosted by the German partner Internationaler Bund (IB), the meeting brought together representatives from all partner organizations to officially launch the project, establish the implementation roadmap, and coordinate the first phases of the collaboration.

During the two-day meeting, partners discussed the overall project structure, management procedures, work packages, timelines, communication strategies, dissemination activities, and expected outcomes. The discussions ensured a common understanding of the project objectives and strengthened the collaborative framework among consortium members.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for partners to exchange experiences and gain insights into vocational education and training (VET) practices in Germany. This exchange contributed to building stronger cooperation and sharing expertise among organizations working in the fields of youth empowerment, digital education, and employability.

VET4YE aims to enhance the quality, inclusiveness, and attractiveness of vocational education and training across Europe by supporting disadvantaged young people through innovative learning methodologies. The project will integrate modern digital tools, Virtual Reality (VR), micro-credentials, and learner-centred approaches to improve employability opportunities and reduce skills mismatches.

The consortium consists of eight organizations from Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, Poland, Romania, Cyprus, and Finland, all working together toward the common goal of empowering disadvantaged youth through accessible and innovative VET solutions.
